Laser tag

I'm finishing this post. I'm in the sauna. Burning up. Sweating pouring out and it stings my throat. Ugh. I can't think. Almost time to get out. Adele in my ears and laser tag on the mind.

Took the kids to play laser tag last Tuesday. That would be April 23. Peyton, Sydney, Bianca and me. Yes I'm the only competitive one in the group. I can't wait til the lil girls get competitive. Bianca Ida's getting mad at me that I wanted her to follow me into the base. I kept shooting three of the other team but the fourth would get me. So I thought she could help. Nope. The other team had their base protected and enough people shooting our base too. I have no clue where our team was or what they were doing. First game I had 1st on our team of 11. Game 2 I had second. And again our team sucked. I can't wait to take DJ with us next time we go. I took some photos but only one came out. 2 games if laser tag and $26 in snacks and $50 in game tokens. We still have half of the tokens.

Still playing catch up on the blog and life. Even the gym. Today is day 1 again after a week off cuz of my stitches. Today the pool is packed. The kids want to swim. So I'm thinking if they can have a good week I will gladly bring them back to swim. It's gonna be 97 at the end on the week. Now if I was swimsuit ready. Yikes. I have a lil time to kill and a lot to trim.

Good mornin

I didn't sleep very well last night but when I finally settled into the good sleep my alarm went off. 530 you came to quickly. I raced downstairs to make coffee and start getting ready. Soon the girls were up and I was making breakfast for them. A first they agreed in oatmeal. Woohoo.
5 minutes to spare and Kamren was standing at the gate. He was smiling and that's always a sign to what kinda morning we will have. It was gonna be a great one. I smiled and said Good morning. And he said Good Mornin mama. Picked him up and gave him a big hug then he said his good morning to the rest of the crew. Headed upstairs for some milk in the glider and we snuggled. Love those precious moments with him. The girls and dad headed off to school and I asked Kamren if he wants to go potty in the toilet and get a stamp. yay he said yes. I sang a lil potty ditty and he peed. Woo hop danced a jig, high fives, clapping and fist pumps. He picked the helicopter for his stamp.
I finished getting ready and I bribed Kamren. If he let me brush his teeth good we would go outside and play a lil while. Before we headed to school. It was worth it.
Work was work and daycare was daycare. No stamps at school no trip to the toy jar for Kamren.
Picked syd and pey up and got an ear full about the school day. Peyton was first on the track. Sydney and mia tied, no one waited for ella and lunch was pretty good.
Back at the homestead we got our workout on, then played outside spraying the dog, each other and the plants.
Dinner grilled fish, rice and corn. Then more playtime out front with Caleb. The kids rode bikes, scooters and then suited up for some baseball. Heck ya! Batting practice and I got videos. Kam got his ups and managed to tee off a few.

Lost a few posts

I should really save more often. I wrote a few days worth and lost it all so in playing catch up
Last Sunday we met up with the cousins at grandma and papas house, the girls were so excited that the boys were going to be there and as soon as uncle Rudy and Tia andria rounded the corner Donovan was trying to jump out of the van It hadn't even stopped and he was flying out of the door on a mission to meet up with the coolest cousins he knows. Okay I'm biased but these three really love each other. Snapped some photos of the cousins all enjoying Popsicles. I even made a poster of one.
Looking back over old blog posts of Sydney Peyton and Donovan and how they looked like triplets and even now they still have that resemblance. Great lookin kids with personality for days.
I love their relationship, how much fun they can have playing dogs, soccer, hide n seek or just talking about everyday stuff. I can't wait to see what happens next. Looking forward to summer fun

Potty training last week

Another session of Potty training sponsored by moms around the world. Friday felt like a great day to begin again... The lil man decided one time I. The toilet was enough, Saturday wasn't any better, but Sunday was a break through... 1 accident and we even went to grandma and papas. Monday and Tuesday he peed on Sharon and she suggested him not coming to school like a fashionista and trying easy off pants instead: sweats or elastic band pants. Ugh. Not my fab. Wednesday he had a couple stamps so he's on his way.

UFC Style

Big time fighting. Chair to the head, blood spilling down the side of my face. 5 stitches and a tdap shot later and in stuck with a huge swollen and bruised eye.
Or should I say bad experience gardening. Truth I was watering plants on the fence and I have four metal chairs that I use to stand on. They have mesh seats and they are four years old. Haha. The girls ripped the mesh in the last chair but didn't say anything. I watered the first three sections and stepped over to the fourth and my foot went through the mesh seat and I fell backwards and to the side, the l chair flipped back and smacked my head. Blood gushed everywhere. And I hit the other side of my head on the play structure. 5 stitches. Ugh

Girl drama

Wow why does drama and girls go hand in hand. I'm sure it's not only my girls but there is so much competitiveness in this house and not always in a good way I suppose.
I wish my kids were nicer to each other. Sydney is always calling Peyton ugly. So not nice. I think all my kids are beautiful, and it's not just me thinking that. I know my kids are smart and kind most of the time but when it comes to each other,!lets just say the gloves are off again
New rule: when you say something mean you must say three nice things about that person to that person. Face to face

Older girl drama. Damn prom news. Last night I went to lay with Bianca before bed and snuggle. She said that Kennedy asked nick to prom and he said no. Then Jenny (Ks mom) told Kennedy to make a sign asking nick and a photo album and letter. What the hell... Then drove her to nicks house and talked to nick herself. Can you say embarrassing. Poor Kennedy was crying. I think I would too.
More prom news. So I guess JF is a no go. There could be many reasons why and I don't wanna speculate. I already have. So now Bianca wants to go with Donnie Hibbs, football player and mr comedy himself. She said that he always makes her laugh and what more could a girl ask for right??? Haha. She said Michael is awkward and Nick lacara is well she didn't really say cept that he snapchats her a hundred times. When did snapchats start to suck

Mud factor fun mud race

Second race in the mud for Bianca and I but we teamed up with my sister Amy, and my girls Diane, Sandra, Liz and her husband. So glad we had one man run with us cuz it wasn't your grandmas mud run. Haha. Leann and Judy backed out, but there is always another run around the corner.
So we got there and got hyped before the noon call to run. We started off near the front and at an easy jog first obstacle was a huge mud and water filled hole. Amy went straight up the gut and everyone else made way thru. Only I couldn't see Amy anymore and I heard people yelling that people lost shoes. Ya. So I stood on the sideline as folks ran by us finally spotted Amy getting her shoe from the mud pit and getting it back on.
The race is on and half our team ditched us so time to make it up double time. A few more mud filled streamed and Bianca takes Amy out into the mud and slime. Yep liked like two teenagers wrestling around. Ok let's triple time to catch up an we did. Hell ya I love that. Next obstacle was a huge wall you had to slither under like a snake. In the slippery mud and a ditch of water but not clean, it was gross. More mute puddles of shin high sticky mud. Run run. Oh ya there was this big reminded me of a train car that was lodged into the mud. We had to get up over that. No easy feat for someone with not enough upper body strength. With some help I got up and pulled my water logged ass over. Big jump into the mud pit and off to the races we went.
My least favorite obstacle was this huge slippery wall that was @45 degree angle and about 7 feet high. People were making human ladders to get up. Sandra went up first climbing up with a lil push and then me. Well at the top there was no easy way to brace yourself of get over. The other side consisted of two by fours set far apart and the angle it hit the top of the obstacle was pointy. The top is lined with men and women trying to help others up and so we got the BIL up and folks start grabbing us to get up but we aren't secure so we are sliding down and trying to regain our spot on the wall using every once of strength we have. Not much. Haha. That obstacle took ten minutes at least. I hurt my shoulder hanging on.
Running through slippery mud trails I hit the ground hard a couple times. I needed cleats. Haha. We slid down hard packed mud hills and the climbed up and over cargo nets like the military does. Those were about 15 feet high or more. Then we climbed over 6 ft walls with no ropes or anything. Walked over wet beams and pools of mud. There were trenches to climb inane out of and tunnels too. Yay mud. The next hardest obstacle was the 30 ft wall and you had to use a rope with knots to get over. That was scary. My favorite part was the huge slip n slide. They put soap on you and down you went. Me and Amy went at the same time and it was fast and cool. Bianca got a huge push and was like a rocket. Fun stuff. Wish there were more slides. My least favorite parts were the military crawls under the wire n the mud. We did that a few times and they were long obstacle. I got some scrapes and cuts on my knees from random rocks. We made it, we had a blast and I'm ready for another.

Half days

Friday was my annual family practitioner appt. not sure I have these but after a blood work up and routine questions I was found to have good cholesterol, no diabetes and everything else was good. Hot flashes and all. So I got to start work a lil late and leave work a lil early and that makes any work day worth it

Picked the lil ones up and raced home in anticipation of Bianca, jacks and Kennedy coming home to get ready for the soccer game vs rancho... And hear about the HS days events. B informed me that she checked out her locker to make sure it was safe and then started textin MK to let him know up front she wasn't sure she wanted to go to prom. Ok girl wants to go to prom and first choice is JF. Anyhow MK said he ain't trippin and if she wants to go let him know cuz he wanted to get a limo. Nice call bro. Celt I don't imagine him talkin like that. Oh well I still see that five year old toe head kid

Soccer game was a 2-0 win for the eagles and I took turns with be watching the game and walking up and down the bleachers with Kamren. We also had some police action with helicopters and that made Kamren happy as could be. We walked around the field and played on the giant hills, Sydney and Peyton and kam were pretending to be mountain climbers which required pulling themselves using roots,grass, and rocks up the side of the mountain and then Sliding down. Fun and entertaining for all. Jake Klinger came over to play with the girls. Kam also found a big toad who turned into the life of the party.

Bianca went home with Kennedy to shower and pick the boys up for the twirp dance. Got a couple not very good photos taken and headed to the dance. They said it was lame and that was $20 wasted if you ask me. Jenny (Kennedy's mom) picked the kids up early and they went back to her house for ice cream, beef jerky n cupcake cravings oh n pitch perfect. So they hung out with movies.

What's a girl to do??
Bianca is a smart, kind, outgoing, and beautiful girl. On top of that she a comedian. Who wouldn't want to ask her to the prom?

She text me this morn to say that MK was going to ask her to the prom today. He was askin where her locker was an classes. Sounds like a man on a mission.

Bianca already asked JF to the twirp dance and he said yes. Dance is Friday. Woohoo. She really wants to go to the prom with JF. He is her first choice and she's been crushing on him for as long as I can remember.

But what if JF doesn't ask her. What if she misses the prom because she said no to the guys willing to take the chance and ask because she's waiting for J. What if he doesn't ask. I mean he's got to be crazy not to ask.

Bianca said that NL wanted to take her if J didn't. I don't get it. I mean I do but I don't. Of course NL wants to take her. But what if he really wants to take her even if JF wanted to. I mean is he hoping J doesn't ask her or is he just gonna wait around and see what happens.

What would you do?
So hard to decide. I mean 3 nice guys (from what I can tell). 3 athletes. Haha

Update. News alert. Haha. MK told all of 1st period and the baseball team that he was going to ask Bianca to the prom. He even got her locker number from the hall monitor cuz the hall monitor went to talk to Bianca 5th period. Anyhow back to the MK thing. He also told JFs best friend Ben. Okay if I was Ben I would have been YO MK is gonna ask your girl to prom. Haha.
Bianca also said that JF was holding her hand today. What's that all about. Ask already cuz I'd hate to see MK get his heart broken or even turned down cuz Bianca likes JF. On Bianca's defense she told MK she was Going to TWIRP with JF and I'm pretty sure MK is following Bianca on twitter and Instagram and she posts all the time.

Can't wait to hear what's going on tomorrow. rally at school for Bianca the. Her girls are coming to the house before the soccer match and the Bianca is going to Kennedy's after the game to shower and get ready for the dance. Woo hop

Weekend fun

Woohoo. Friday was great. Went to nishiki sushi with Leann and Laura. Great food. Rock n roll, corvette and Buddha. After lunch Leann and I walked to yogurt and i showed her old soul, can't believe she's never been.
Bianca and the girls did their chores as Bianca wanted to go to Scandia with McKenna and friends. I wasn't thrilled about that hood and her going but she's an awesome kid and I trust her to make good choices. They ended up skipping Scandia and going to Bella bru and yogurt instead. Afterwards McKennas dad picked them up and they went to his sports academy and they watched wrestling and ride the mechanical bull. Ride em cowboy.

Having a hard time blogging at the dr and these people are chattin loud. Ugh.

Saturday we finished cleaning up the backyard and it's almost ready to plant our garden. Bianca came home an had been texting with michael khols. He said they should hang out and Bianca asked if he drove. Haha. No driving teens. Later she got asked to the movies by Michael. He said it was awkward cuz his aunt was gonna drive them. Bianca said cool. They got lost coming to the house and they ended up seeing GI JOE and going to pizza.
Easter Sunday we went to Judy Dale and Landon's for Easter fun. BBQ and it was gorgeous outside. The kids did and water egg hunt. Bianca got the golden egg worth $10. Woo hoo. Kamren was checkin Judy out all afternoon and her pretty red dress and cowboy boots. She ended up letting him wear the boots. He had fun
The kids all played tag, hide n seek and guns. Tommy nerf gun rules. I gotta get kam one. The kids had uncle mark chasing them all over, he got more exercise than he bargained for. Good food and fun
Later that night Ben and I saw the call. Bianca isn't going to the mall alone ever. Ugh.
Now I'm at capitol imaging getting mammogram then gym time. Tomorrow blood work and Friday physical. Way to start April

Have you

Been outside yet. I mean everyone probably has. It's gorgeous, cool, sun is out. I love it. It makes me wish I wasn't at work.
My son would love to be outside right now. He wakes up asking to go outside. He doesn't care if its cold, hot, rainy, overcast. He wants to be outside. I don't blame him. Outside is where it's at.
At daycare he doesn't get outside much. You would think he would. They have a covered patio, lots of outside things but the kids are cooped up inside. Give me a break. The kids need to be outside. They love outside. They burn more energy playing outside and there is a feeling of independence for them.
This morning after making breakfast for the 3 girls and getting lunches ready I had a quick shower and woke kam up. He didn't wanna get up at all, but finally was able to get him dressed and ready with a lil bribe of outside. Yep we spent 10 minutes outside before the car ride to daycare and work. I love that time with him.

Happy Good Friday

Woke up to the sound of my lil man padding into my room. He's so stinkin cute in the morning. He loves to snuggle, and nurse. Ok he wants to be close to his mama. Can you blame him? Thought not. He's very talkative in the am. So we chat back n forth til I really need to get outta bed. "I o you" means i love you. Haha. Work waits for no woman. Well sometimes it does. Got ready. Got kam ready and then hit Costco to gas up the beast then Starbucks to get myself revved up and ready for a long day. Cheers

Awake

Yesterday I was exhausted when I got home. Stoked to see the kids cleaned house and walked to the park for an impromptu play date with Logan. Especially since Bianca called to complain that Sydney wasn't helping with laundry and was being naughty.
Made dinner and lounged on the couch. No gym for me. I really wanted bed, so at 815 I took the kids up to get them ready for bed and read to them. Tucked everyone in for the night and crawled into bed.
Sleep evaded me. I closed my eyes a s the wheels in my head were spinning. I tried and tried to sleep. Counted sheep. It was 10 and then 11. I was overtired and not sleeping.
I was thinking. Beach trips to plan. Mini vacation with my sis, mom and kids plus a beach trip to SLO to see out besties the millers. So much to plan so littles time. Okay SLO this summer. July I think. Capitola or bodega bay in August and Dl in December. Woohoo.
I eventually fell asleep somewhere between Ben snoring and the fan spinning. Woke up at 2, 4, 630 and ya so another sleepless night. It's been over a month of this poor sleep. I'm n unhappy girl when I'm having hot flashes and no sleep.

Spring break work out?

Long day at work yesterday and knew Thursday would bring carpool fever so I wanted to hit the gym and use my cupcake craving groupon that was expiring. Load 4 cranky kids in the car and drive to Folsom.
First off lil miss babysitter slept til 1130 while Sydney and Peyton did their chores, played out back and watched way to much tv. Bianca did wake up and get all her chores done by the time I got home. Yay team
Car rides are always Kaos. I wonder what car rides are like in other families with multiple kids??
Picked up 12 amazingly delicious cupcakes and headed to the gym. The gym was packed at 530. Had the hardest time finding a locker. Damn. 5 minutes in the sauna while Bianca groaned outside the door. Hit the elliptical for 10 minutes because Bianca said her knee was hurting but she would work through it. Well I don't want it to hurt, so we did the treadmill for 10 minutes but I could tell it wasn't helping the knee. So the bike was next. We raced for a bit and then hit the machines. At least that had us laughing at each other. 10 minutes in the sauna again so I could stretch and relax. Love that room. Picked up the kiddos and headed to papa Murphy's for a veggie pizza and pepperoni for the kids.
When I got in the car Sydney was screaming, tears, yelling, slobbering. Peyton had Bianca's phone playing plants vs zombies. Bianca said Sydney called her stupid. ( Sydney called me stupid the day before when I said she couldn't play on my phone). So Bianca must have called Sydney names because Sydney said Bianca started it. I have no idea but Bianca knew what would make Sydney mad. So Peyton reaped the benefits and got to play. This screaming uncontrollable acting 7 year old was a mess the entire drive home. Music load and she just wanted to scream louder, to be heard. There is no reasoning with her at this point. Home we barely make it with our sanity. Still crying. Eventually she stopped after another half hour of on and off madness. Can't wait for school to start again. Routine. And early bedtime. I hit the hay at 10 but woke up every hour. Sydney came into sleep with us and I up her back to bed in her room. Then kam woke up crying whimpering. Put him back to bed as well with his giraffe and soft soothing sounds. Took him about 5 minutes. Took me another hour an the next thing I knee. Ben was shaking me awake. Well good morning to you too.

Party all day. Party all night

I am exhausted. Woke up early on Tuesday with Kamren we made coffee together and went outside to play before the girls woke up. Yay for a lil chill in the air, coffee in hand and a soccer ball to kick with my boy. The girls woke up about an hour later and we did chores and then back outside to play and water our wonderful garden.
Kam took an early morning nap fell asleep in my arms for an hour til i laid him down and I snuck off with Sydney and Peyton on a bike ride. We went almost 4 miles and it felt so good. I would love to ride more but the girls are in need of new bikes cuz the ones they have are small and one gear. Makes for a hard ride for them. I ride in the hardest gear to make it fair.
When we got back from cow gazing and the bike ride the kids all jumped in the trampoline with ice cubes. They had a blast. Love all the laughter and smiles. Kam wore his helmet. Haha.
Lunch and another family bike ride. Bianca and kam went too. A lil jogging a lil scootering and some biking fun. Yay family.
Tv time while the kids played out back more and I fixed dinner. After a bit we went out back to play tag. My 7 year olds are quick and I'm not kidding they were chasing me with a vengeance. We were up the slide, down the stairs, through the swings and round and round the trampoline. I was exhausted and so were they. It was awesome fun.
Soccer game at 10. I didn't want to go but sucked it up and played. I played good. Scored 2 goals 3 assists. I was feeling and looking good. Loved it!!! I'm ready for another game.
Home at last and a lil tv with Bianca and Ben. Yay for some downtime but I wasn't tired to much adrenaline to contain. Finally fell asleep and I wanted to cry when the alarm went off and Kamren got angry. Put that boy back in his bed and slept another hour. Heck ya.
Got to work late an now I'm workin late to make up for it.

A lil me

Sittin in this sauna makes me feel amazing. My favorite before and after workout. Got a late start to the gym tonight but I am here. The me thing. I don't care to be here alone. It's more fun to work out with someone but looks like me and Kam were the only ones who needed gym time. Kam was thrilled the whole way here but got a lil tear action when I left him in the kid gym. He always loves it. The girls all gain over him. They think he's cute and sweet. Well duh. He totally is. So I'm stretching in this heat. No more pulled muscles I got me a soccer game tomorrow. Old lady league.

I loved doing the gym with my girl courtni and even Sandra is cool at the gym. Bianca hates the sauna but likes to run. Guess she's too cool to go to the gym with me now. Come on Ben. I know you love the gym. He owes me 6 days still he lost a bet. You can see he's beating the door down to come along. So it's me. And it's quiet tonight. This stretch is amazing. Then I'm gonna hit that elliptical like its my girls Vin. A girl can use some motivation. Almost warm enough to start swimming. That's when the girls are screaming for the gym.
Got 2 miles in 22 minutes. Maybe tomorrow I will do that 45 on the elliptical. I really need to get myself ready for the mud run and for bikini weather. I have another two weeks for the run and that's not gonna have me ready for summer. Once I get this routine back I think I will be okay but it's so easy to lounge on the couch and not put the work in. I need to want it more and know I can do it but its been so long. It's the journey I'm lookin for.
3.5 miles in 22 on the bike, as you can tell it was a lazy ride. I don't wanna get off the bike and miss any of the voice but I wanna relax in the sauna before I gotta pick Kamren up. Shhh don't tell we aren't on the good routine tonight. Kam had a late nap because Bianca babysat while we took Sydney and Peyton to see the croods.

Now I'm home and gliding with kam in my arms. He's me talkative and so sweet. He loves to say please and my new favorite quote is. Thank you Mommie. Melts my heart.

A day to reflect

This week has been emotional and the closer it got to march 24th the more on edge I got. Frustration, loss of patience, well Kyles anniversary does that to me. The pain that is always there. The hurt in my heart. I still miss him and wish he was here but feel blessed to have had him in my life for the short while he was on earth.

8 years 5 months and 5 days ago today was the last time I held and kissed my son Kyle who stole my heart with his infectious smile and happy out going self. Not a day goes by that I don't think about you or what you brought to my life. I love you now and always. Because of you i am a better person; I'm more compassionate, love completely and forgive easily.

Through my grief journey I met the most amazing friends and support system and together we shared each others stories, pains of love and loss and together continue to help others who have suffered loss during pregnancy and after. Thank you sharing parents of Sacramento. And many others who give their time and support for a beautiful cause.

We went to the cemetery with wild flowers & sunflowers and places his stuffed animals and race cars around his marker. Kamen likes to arrange the toys He also likes to borrow and play with other children's toys. We did our lil tribute and the kids are eager to get back and make Kyles place Easter friendly.

After our visit we headed to Vallejo for cousin Olivia's baptism. Kamren wasn't thrilled about the long car ride and then sitting I. Church so I was outside most of the time with him. Afterwards we went to walnut creek for the reception at Scott's seafood. The place was really beautiful. The kids liked the water falls and walking around the garden area. The hosts had a nice set up. Fancy caramel corn and chocolate dipped pretzels. We all got to write notes to Olivia. Very cool. Food was good. Ben iAnd Bianca had a contest on who drank the most mocktails. The girl of the hour was beautiful and never cried. Life is good.

Kamrens 2 year well visit

We saw dr Agee cuz dr niazi is still on maternity leave. Kam loves dr niazi but he really liked dr Agee too. He is 34.5 inches (50%) tall 27 lbs (45%) and his head is 19.25 (75%). He commented that he acted more like a 3 yro than a 2 yro. That's my boy! He was showing off for her. He kept telling her he was 2, told her his name and wanted her to test his reflexes with her lil hammer. He walked forward, backward, skipped, jumped, showed her his muscles before putting his clothes back on. What a cool kid. She was happy to hear that he went potty in the big toilet at school and that he has pooped in the toilet at home web though potty training was an epic fail. He peed the floor more times than he did anything else. Oh well. He is back on track and Dick said that Kam went up to him and said he needed to potty. Big plus.
After the dr appt we went to cookie connection and stocked up on cookies. My lil man is now passed out while we wait for Sydney and Peyton to get out of school.
