More Pictures from CVC

Castro Valley Classic

it was a long weekend. we headed up to castro valley about 130 on Friday, took us about 2 hours to find the hotel. Sydney and Peyton slept almost the entire trip. They were well rested and ready to play. We spent the rest of the day playing around the hotel, eating dinner and hanging out with the Robinsons, everyone showered and bathed, I even got a lil me time....

we didn't sleep very well on Friday Night.... I was up at 1, 3, and 5.....but woke up for the day at 7 and ate breakfast and got ready for the games.....

The field were turf and so beautiful. picture perfect, wish i got a picture of that.... The Rage beat Castro Valley 6-0... and Bianca got a goal. She shot the ball and the goalie blocked it but she followed it and blasted it in for a goal... but she didn't do her Aztec move.. shooting the bow n arrow.. Great Grandma, Aunt Roxann, Ryan and Zach showed up for the first game and got to see Bianca get the goal. that was pretty exciting for them... ~lol~ the babies were being very cautious because they hadn't seen them in so long. By the end of the game they were slappin high fives. We all had lunch together and then headed back for game two.

Uncle Michael was there for game two. He sat with me and the girls. He kept the babies occupied feeding them cheerios and ice cubes. Midway through the game Angel and Martha came. We watched the game and played with the babies too. Sydney fell asleep on the boob and I put her in the stroller for a nap. Peyton enjoyed all the attention she could get. The Rage beat that team 6-0 too....

After the game Uncle Michael, Ben and Bianca played soccer while I hung out with the girls talking for awhile. Got some pictures of Uncle Michael and Bianca in the Cobra.... Angel invited us over for breakfast in the morning.

Back at da hotel... the kids ran wild, kids showering, swimming, playing... finally it was dinner time. we went to a buffet, not a good choice.... after wards I went to take a nap. Bianca, jade and Natalie watched the babies with Ben for a lil while... then ben watched sydney while the girls had peyton.. i got two hours uninterrupted sleep... Ben brought Peyton in about 930 to bed, and then Sydney sometime around 1030.... at 1 o clock.. people were still out and about.... i was up a few times with the babies... and we got up again about 700.

I showered and got ready, then got the babies ready. Ben and Bianca fought over the shower and then we packed up and headed to Angel and Felicia's for breakfast Breakfast was gourmet of course... we had cantaloupe, french toast, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, bacon and sausage.... yummie.... we all ate great.... the babies had fun climbing stairs, wearing flip flops and playing with everyone.

Angel and Felicia met us at the game. Peyton and Sydney were busy eating yogurt and making a mess. I changed them 3 times during Sunday's first game. Sunday Game One... against the Kickin Chickens... The Rage won 5-2.... Bianca scored again.... and then time did the Aztec bow n arrow move.... Go Bianca.... she was on fire this tournament.... in the right place, great crosses, passes, runs.... she plays the middle very well. always running up and back, the girl seldom gets winded... She was fighting hard this tournament. During the first game, Angel, Felicia, me and the girls walked to the cars. On the way back I was carrying Syd and she had her yogurt in hand, when the yogurt dropped, I knew she was asleep... funny how she could fall asleep while I was carrying her.... Peyton was wide awake... Angel and Felice took turns carrying her and once we got back to the field, I put Sydney in the stroller and she was out for the count. Peyton kept trying to wake her up.....

We all hung out til about 345, then Angel and Felicia bid us farewell and goodluck. They were going to a concert. Sydney and Peyton gave them lots of love before they left, but I didn't have my camera out.

Championship Game... The Rage lost in the battle for first place. The other team was faster and beat our girls in the back. Natalie and Renee had some great stops, but they finally wore our girls out and made the shot. The Rage had some opportunities, but in the end they couldn't get through. I think they were tired from the weekend of games.....The game ended 1 -nil....

After the trophies were awarded, we packed up and headed to visit Great Grandma, Aunt Roxann, Uncle Rick, Ryan and Zach. The babies napped on they drive to Walnut Creek, and it took them awhile to warm up. We ate dinner with the family, the kids played in the backyard - basketball, soccer, with the dog Kelly and just running around.

The trip home was a NIGHTMARE.... Peyton started off crying, and then Sydney chimed in.... Bianca was hollering and whinning about the babies..... so the entire 2 hour trip - there was so much traffic - was nonestop crying, screaming, yelling.... and pure madness.. I don't wanna go on anymore trips...

pink crocs and a potty break

Tuesday Amy and I went to dinner and the CPK with Sydney and Peyton. We ordered the grilled vegtable salad and wild mushroom pizza, the babies had cheese pizza with a side of fresh tomatoes and olives. Dinner went well, the kids got restless as usual and then we headed to Nordstoms for some baby crocs. Peyton tried on some purple crocs while Sydney tried on some neon green. They traded crocs and then we changed the green to blue while the girl went to the back to look for hot pink. Amy and I chased the babies all over the shoe department and finally we were set with the HOT PINK CROCS....

Just Another Manic Monday

What a weekend. I'm so exhausted and yet i was up at 6 to get in the shower.. only Sydney had other plans for me.. and by 645 i managed the shower... she sucked me dry - darn vampire... ~LMAO~ Peyton was in my bed most of the night... not sure when I picked her up... but it was sometime during the night cuz she wasn't there when i went to bed ~lol~ Second night I don't remember getting the baby... that could be very BAD

Saturday Ben's mom met us at the house and rode with us to Vacaville for the tournament - it's about 45 miles away... first game @ 1230, second game at 630 and we had to be there at 1030 ~ugh~ the babies did fine on the ride up... ben and i got into an argument before we left because he had some papers he put on the couch (he said) and they weren't there..... and i had cleaned up... i told him if they were his papers and important to him, he should have put them in a better place... F U ~lmao~ i had my ipod on the entire trip, ignoring him and everyone else... he got the team checked in and we went to the Nugget Market - never been to one of those... it was fantastic... really awesome inside, it's family owned and operated... a ton of people working... the best deli I've been to... i swear they had 20 types of bread to choose from - all just baked or something... I got Foccaccia (sat and sun) smoked chicken and smoked turkey the next day... anyhow... in line the lady gave the babies samples of meat, cheese, bread, olives are what really work (they love those) cuz Syd was a bit cranky and hungry... then we were walking around and people who worked there were making sure we could find what we needed... brought balloons to the kids... even asked if they wanted a cookie.. ~LMAO~ yes Syd was a handful and upset again.... they have a barista in the store.. and a huge place where you can eat, nice chairs and tables... I was impressed..... after we ate we went to the game... my sister drove up to the game too.. So I had my MIL and sister to help me out with the kids.

the Rage won 7-0 the first game vs Vacaville Spirt....after the game we drove over to the outlets and the babies had fallen asleep and I had a total migraine .... so everyone went shopping but me and the babies... we napped for an hour... then we had lunch and my sister drove back home.. so it was just the MIL helping now...the rage won the second game 7-0 also against another vacaville team - the black thunder I think... our girls were on fire... great crosses, great shots... we had to stop scoring at 7 cuz they deduct points..... actually the girls were supposed to stop at 5 cuz Ben doesn't like running the score up.... but a couple girls lost their minds and scored anyhow....

and then Sunday rolls around.... a sleepless night of course... and no help for me... just me and my babies making a ruckus... 1st game was at 1200, the Rage won 5-0... I think we played another vacaville team, but I can't find my list..... and we played for 1st at 500... they won 3-0... they were really tired for the last game... sluggish and probably just exhausted too... I forgot my camera... so i was a lil bit upset, I didn't get a picture of them with the trophy... but oh well.... another 1st place tournament....

No practice today... the girls practice tomorrow instead.... so my sister is coming over tomorrow instead of today... ben will have Syd and Pey while Bianca and I go to yoga....

Bianca had her first day of school today... I took her.. Ben tried to get her to wear her CHAMPION t shirt from the tournament... I was glad she didn't.... I'm like it's the first day of school, everyone will be wearing their favorites... at least I know bianca did... her favorite shirt - the one my friends daughter Jordie designed... Pretty cool stuff... So Bianca wore that.... and she was a happy camper

Ben picks her up today. can't wait for my update..... ~looking over at my phone, it's blinking.. that means a message, did i miss my sixth graders phone call~

Work is exhausting today... hit starbucks on the way in.. for an AMERICANO...

SUNSTROKE CLASSIC CHAMPS

The girls played two games today. The morning game vs Elk Grove Vortex, the Rage won 6-0, setting them up for the championship game against Stockton Fast and Furious.

LandPark Rage takes the championship in the 1-nil game. It was a tough day on the field for the Rage, they played hard and never gave up thus the victory was theirs.

We missed most of our nephew's birthday party due to the soccer tournament, but we were at the party in time for the pinata, cake and to see Donovan open presents. I mangaged to get a few pictures of the girls playing in the water feature.

it's a Rage Weekend

Bianca's soccer team - LandPark Rage - played in the Folsom Classic Soccer Tournament. We were in the Red Division under 12's... Saturday it was 105 in Folsom. The girls played great. They beat Prospector 2 Extreme 3-1 @ noon and then we had a break til 5 o clock. They beat California Rush Invasion 5-2. Bianca had two good games, she played left mid field both games, so she ended up with two assists, and a couple shots on goals - just no goals....

Sunday we played @ 9 am - and lost to Folsom Extreme 1 - nil.... So instead of playing for 1st place we ended up playing for 3rd place. We played Placer Spirit and beat them 2-1.... Bianca was playing left midfield the first game and the second game she got to play some right forward, some left middle and some left forward - she actually scored a goal.... only to have it taken away because a girl from the other team picked it up while she was in the goal, after it crossed the line and she threw it out - it was strange how the play unfolded.... it was a lot of girls all kicking for the goal, and a lot of bodies blocking the shots and finally Bianca's shot which a random Placer girl decided to stop it with her hands while behind the line of the goal.. anyhow the center judge talked to the lineswoman... and then after some debate he gave us a penalty shot instead of giving the guilty party a red card and us the goal.. anyhow it didn't matter cuz the penalty kick went in and we were good to go... The girls got really nice trophies.....

okay now the mama's posts on the weekend... Twins are difficult unless you're at home or somewhere we have boundaries.... a park... a soccer field - it's all open range for them... they wanna explore, they want to roam like wild dogs, they don't want to watch soccer, they don't want to let you watch soccer..... the MIL went to the games on Saturday, but it didn't make it that much easier.... Sydney and Peyton think they need mama all the time and no one else does for them.... we got them leashes... well a monkey and doggie backpack deal... lets not pretend... it's still a leash, and it works better on dogs.... cuz the kids still want to do what they want to do. My sister came a lil late to game one.... she helped out with the kids too.. So yes.. three of us and it was still hard. Sydney and Peyton have a friend at the games - Kimberly, she's 7 months old, they love to kiss and hug her. There are lots of potential friends at the games... but seldom do they want to go out on a limb to make a new one.... it takes them a long time to warm up even to the old ones.... once they get on a roll, they will give you high fives til your hards are sore and talk your ear off... after game one, we all loaded up - Ben, MIL, Bianca, Jade, Sydney, Peyton, Amy and me.... and headed for Ruby Tuesdays for some grub.... it was just what we needed, AIR CONDITIONING and ice water.... The babies fell asleep and slept all thru the food. I had the garden bar and two mini turkey burgers - delicious - the strawberries were amazing.... so sweet - the babies woke up and ate before we headed back to the park - minus my sister who bailed on game number two.... So it was down to grandma and me to watch the babies... Game two wasn't as bad.... the girls played in their stroller, using it as chairs, they clapped and watched some of the game, ate grapes with the soccer girls, ran onto the field a couple times..... I was ready for a nap. after the game, everyone showered and was ready for bed, but of course by then it was 11 pm......

7 am came to soon, of course 3 am came sooner when i nursed a baby back to sleep, and then 5 am came and someone else was thirsty... and then at 7 I had to get ready and the babies just wanted to sleep some more. We made a starbucks run on the way to the game.... the girls were dressed pretty in pink and brown - and sitting nice in the stroller while mama got stuck setting all her stuff up.... Peyton drank all her chocolate milk.... and Sydney decided it would be funny to dump hers all over Peyton.... and she did... and ben didn't bring the xtra set of clothes I set out for them.... so they looked like walmart babies, stained, dirty and wet.... yeah... picture perfect... Amy and Tyler showed up fashionably late and helped with the babies.... they were pretty good.. spilling water and playing in the ice - and it was cooler today. after the game we hit the baby gap to buy the girls something to wear since they were dirty and stained.... and then Applebee's - the worst service in the world... and the worst food... two strikes... Sydney threw a fit at the resturant, after way to much screaming and crying I took her for a walk and to the car where she nursed and honked the horn... finally we headed back to eat... after that we went shopping some more and then back to the game... the girls were knocked out - HOORAY I got to watch some soccer and have adult interaction

they slept the first half of the game and then they were up and ready to rule the world. We danced, chased dogs, chased our tails, played at the park.....I was so happy when the game was over and they passed out the trophies....

We went to the in laws for Papa's birthday party... we had the yummie Strawberry White Chocolate Mousse cake from Ettore's. We got papa a yellow Nike America hat....

Sydney, Bianca, Donovan, Papa and Peyton ---- check out the cool trophy and hat

Out to lunch

We met our bestest friends from Denver - Mike, Shannon, Estella and Diego for lunch at El Novillero - it was a party. It didn't take long for the girls to all warm up to each other, we haven't seen then since Decemeber I think. Estella has the vocabulary of a third grader and she'll be three in September. Sydney and Peyton were content with chips and salsa for about ten minutes and then Sydney had enough. She played with ice for the next ten minutes, but she was really tired. The company was the best - even if we were talking over kids screaming and laughing the entire time. Mike got beef tacos, Shannon got chicken tacos, Estella got chicken and fries, Bianca got enchilada, I got enchilada, Ben got carnitas... and the babies ate a lil of everything - tomatoes, olives, salad, fries, meat, enchilada, tortilla, rice, fries and chicken. Mostly Sydney wanted to run around, and finally we let the kids down to play.
