I've been hibernating for awhile. I haven't had any motivation for blogging. Life has been really crazy lately.
Friday we loaded up the SUV and headed for Tahoe. I know you're thinking a family get-away. Nope... The only other obvious reason is soccer. Yes... A league game in Tahoe.
A friend rented a cabin in the woods. So what started out as two families ended up being 8 adults and 10 kids - Bianca, Sydney, Peyton, Jade, Justin, Natalie, Renee, Blanca, Diane, Catalina.
From the outside the cabin looked small, but once you got inside, it was really good size. 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Downstairs there was the livingroom, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms. A Queen sized bed in one room and a King in the other. We were given first choice on rooms, that was really cool. We took the King that way the babies could sleep with us. Upstairs was a huge bedroom with a Queen size bed and four twin size beds. Another bedroom with a Queen size bed and a bathroom.
Friday evening it started to snow, the kids couldn't wait to get outside and play as the flakes came down. Some of it stuck, but not to much. I managed to get a few pictures. I used the manual focus and lets just say I didn't do so well.....
Saturday the Rage lost 3-2... Great game. There was snow on the field and it was probably 18 degrees. Way to cold for soccer.
