I took on the task of watching Sydney, Peyton and Donovan while Rudy took Bianca and Dominic to kickboxing class and Ben accompanied his parents to find a new house.
The kids ate apples, bananas and strawberries first, then they drug out some tupperware and pots n pans, then they emptied the toy bucket in the livingroom, Sydney and Peyton pushed the lil blue chairs all over the front of the house. Donovan would try to sit in a chair, but he was to heavy for them to push. After they grew tired of that, we all danced in the livingroom, then headed into the bedroom to empty toys out and play in the closet.
I was only home alone with them for about two hours, but it was long enough. I was able to get a few pictures.

Fantastic Friday
After Thursday night we weren't sure we would be having an adventure at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, but Bianca's a trooper and with a wake up call at 630 in the morning from Tio Rudy - well we were all wide awake. Ten minutes later we all went back to sleep and at 800 mom got in the shower and the fun began. We left the house by 930, but Tio and Tia were in Davis by then. Needless to say Daddy made good time because we arrived at the park while the rest of the Avila's were eatin our dust....
Sydney and Peyton were not to happy about being in the stroller, so we let them walk for awhile. We met Foghorn Leghorn first, then went to see the Dolphins and Penguins, the babies weren't really interested in that so we headed for Thomas Town to ride the train. First ride... and the line was a lil long. Sydney wanted to walk to the front and since I wouldn't let her... she threw a tantrum and everyone and their mothers watched as she screamed and tried to get away, but even that didn't make her happy. Finally the conductor came to see how many in our party, they wanted us on the train and outta site. Ben, Bianca and Peyton pretended they didn't know us. Sydney and I sat by ourselves, but as soon as the train started, she was quiet.
After our Thomas the train trip we met up with (Tios) Rudy, Andria and the boys. The kids ran wild in the play area, climbing on the oversized furniture and toys. Sydney loved the rides, Peyton was a lil more timid when it came to the rides. we did helicopters, flying busses, trains, safari monster trucks and a huge tree house with chuttes and ladders. We hung out with sharks and butterflies (not at the same time). Sydney took a long nap but Peyton and Donovan went napless.
Tio, Mommie, Bianca and Dominic went on the Wild River, then Daddy and Tio went on the boomerrang. That looked scary. Tia talked Mommie into going on Medusa... Bianca begged Mama not to go... she was thinking Final Destination 3 - Thanks Bianca....

the rants and raves of a SAHM

My first day as a SAHM in eight months and let me tell you... it started with a bang, was filled with excitement and ended with exhaustion.
The morning started off great…. Alarm clock Sydney got us up about 830 and we ate a lil breakfast and hit the gym. The babies and Bianca had free reign inside the playroom. I would sneak a peek and see them doing the cutest things, carrying baby dolls, pushing baby dolls, bowling, sitting at the tables playing on the computers or with the cash registers. After working out we went to the mall. Quick stop at Macy’s for another lip liner, not sure where my last one went....and then the Disney Store... $5.99 for boys beach towels, but no girls towels. Not sure the girls would like the red ranger towel. Back home for a quick change and then it was off to the races, grabbing some lunch and meeting Tia Andria, Dominic and Donovan at the park/mushroom pool. My friend Teri who is also Jonahs "mom mom" told us about a great swimmin hole for the kids. We planned to meet up for a swim date... Did I mention the girls didn't catch a wink of sleep?
The Avila's ate some lunch, put on our swim gear and the three amigos grabbed hands and it was off to the pool. The water was ice cold, They had a big portion of the pool at 12 inches, a smaller part at 6 inches and the mushroom was between 1 inch and 6 inches. I have to admit.. I'm partial to the 6 inch part of the pool. Everytime Sydney went in the deep end... she dove.... face first into the water. She is a daredevil. Peyton was content mimiking Donovan getting in and out of the pool. Dominic and Bianca had a great time under the mushroom. By the time Jonah got there.... the girls were cranky and overtired... the mama's were cranky and tired too.. so we headed over to the park to play on the slides. There was only so much I could handle, I was so lucky to have Bianca and Tia Andria to help me chase down the kiddos... The kids all held hands as we walked to the trucks and then we parted ways, Peyton was out after eating some fruit in the car, Sydney decided she didn't need any sleep. Once we got home I put Peyton in the crib and not long after Sydney crashed on the floor... I took a lil time to relax and recuperate knowing that in one hour Ben and Bianca would be off to soccer training and I'd be alone with wild and crazy babies. Luckily Amy came over to hang out, we decided to go get some CPK - my favorite salad shop....
